The prince spent a good amount of time laying over Gladio's lap while they waited and played some King's Knight, but after a while he started to get worried. He messaged Prompto once, then again a few minutes later. Finally, he called him, but there was no answer.
Noctis wasn't one to necessarily worry, but he knew that Prompto wouldn't miss this for the world. He'd been looking forward to it more than Noctis had, that was for sure. But that only made the prince worry even more. Maybe Prompto was busy, but usually he at least sent a text... Eventually, he decided to stop by his friend's house. Maybe they'd just find him oversleeping or something. That was it.
So he dragged Gladio with him as they headed over to his Prompto's place. When they got there, he knocked at the door. There was no answer. A few seconds later he knocked again and still, no answer. ]
